The multi-million dollar club house was completed in October 1995, and is built out over the Marina with a huge shade sail covered deck, and outdoor alfresco dining facilities.
From the bar area, the view is magnificent, overlooking the Marina and out to the Coral Sea. Inside the club house, the latest quiet electronic poker machines are available in the Gaming Lounge adjacent to the modern bar, and Jupiters Keno is online with a new game every 3 minutes.
Our friendly staff will look after you from daylight to late at night, with the excellent Driftaways restaurant serving everything from potato wedges with sweet chilli dipping sauce, to chargrilled octopus salad. Driftaways is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and for 'Breakfast On The Deck' from 8:00am to 10:00am Sunday morning.
Additional onboard catering can be arranged, and the club is capable of seating up to 1000 people for special occasions and functions.
The Yorkey's Knob Boating Club provides everything one could want in the way of facilities for the promotion of comradeship and comfort.
Everyone is catered for from bingo to pokies, a licensed bar to EFTPOS, a huge carpark, and courtesy coach.
A supervised Children's Lounge operates on Friday and Saturday nights between 6:30pm and 10:30pm and on Sundays from 12.00 to 5.00pm.
- Members Draw: Every Thursday between 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Increases by $50 each week until claimed.
- Monster Meat Raffle: Every Thursday from 7:00pm.
- Grog And Goodies Grab: In the Gaming Lounge on Friday afternoon from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
- Bingo: Every Friday at 10:00am run by and benefits to the Australian Red Cross.
- Live Entertainment: Friday evenings from 8:00pm, Saturday 7.00 to 11.00pm and Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
